THE RISING OF CONSCIOUSNESS

Sharing the journey of life

This AUDIO RECORDING is me talking about my journey through life and how this connects with the information that I share today on this blog site: 32minutes long.

I am exploring life to look at the truth of my behavior and that of others. The cruelty in human actions is so obviously connected to the edited reality we live in, whereby we allow ourselves to feel what is pertaining to our notion of personal survival. This leaves us open to compromising our integrity and compassion for self-interest and gain. I have lots to share in this area and also offer pathways to find strength and personal clarity in all the madness that we must endure on this journey we call life. I have found it very difficult to tolerate a world where cruelty and murder is being contributed to by nearly everyone I meet. It is time we all help each other to evolve beyond these effective but selfish survival pathways that are controlling our existence. I have attempted to expand my existence so it is big enough to handle my own disgust with this world and myself within it… a world where one thing eats another to survive. It is not hard to see the nature of the beast we exist in, so the question is: Can we as a species find a way to exist with purity whilst still living on this planet? Well, that remains to be seen. I do however feel and see the possibility. But we all have some work to do and share to get to this phase. I can see that even compassionate people still live life full of edited stories and their own version of cruelty. So l feel we all need to help each other get honest and real, not just sit around uniting in our own personal crusades…That is beautiful but not enough. It is time to speak and feel with strength and clarity whilst still being a deeply sensitive being. No easy ask but it can be done.

“Compassion will be the new intelligence that will guide humanity into an expansive state of existence beyond the illusion of choice that currently pervades human thought… It is no longer a theory or a prediction, it is possible now. The future has arrived” David Coles

To create this site is very exciting for me, as technology is affording me the possibility to share what I know to a potentially enormous audience. Quite phenomenal compared to the number of listeners I had when I worked as a talk back radio announcer back in the 90’s. Even less when I held seminars, but I did enjoy the personal side to this. However, the dynamic of creating a real and sustainable place for humans to unite in, is going to happen through amazing blog sites like wordpress. You will see that true change on this planet will not be led by our politicians, but by people like you and me that can share without having to put on a performance of false promises. And without having to use brutal physical enforcement to hold it in place.

Of course any idiot can attract a huge audience on the internet, should they do some ridiculous and strange thing on a youtube video, but I am more interested to see how many people on the planet are actually as interested in waking up and finding peace on earth as they say. So no fancy tricks or promises of false happiness.

I did not create this very challenging reality, but I am looking at, understanding it and creating a pathway to exist beyond it. But if you can’t face the suffering we inflict on this planet, then unfortunately I cannot help you…

If we all could feel the pain and suffering inflicted on other living beings in the attainment of our desires, then our minds would drown in tears of sorrow and remorse. And in the death of our denial we would be reborn.

This is an about me section, and although this recording is not me talking about me, it does by the very nature of what I am saying tell you a lot about me, and it is also a great audio to listen to for expanding awareness(also found in blog section 03/07/10). This recording is 18min long so take the time to relax and listen. It is another one of my favorites of late and it explores the hypocrisy and denial of our existence that allows for us to segregate our morality and compassion. I go deeper into explaining the mechanisms that keep us trapped in our pain, and what we need to face and understand if we are to wake up, and learn to live beyond the fear that is an ever growing reality consuming our lives.

AUDIO RECORDING…

“Our task must be to free ourselves . . . by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures and the whole of nature and its beauty.”

“Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances of survival for life on earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet.”

Albert Einstein, physicist, Nobel Prize 1921

If you have absorbed Albert Einstein’s quote then watch this video clip from the movie Powder. To explain briefly, it shows how we would function as completely different beings if we could feel the truth of our actions in the attainment of our desires. Once the hunter feels the pain, the hunter either wakes up or becomes the hunted – tracked down and destroyed by his own denial.

I included this video in the ABOUT ME section as the character POWDER in essence represents how I feel life. And if a person does not feel to this degree then do not let them guide your journey in life, otherwise, where exactly are they taking you?????

  1. wow. good to be guided to this page.

i agree with you david. individual quests and stories play important parts in the whole but there is also a larger picture to play within also…is moving towards a lifestyle which supports compassion to all creatures and the earth is the only way to get there? I believe it may be, for who gets the slaughter house jobs in a perfect world?

i believe in the power of the individual, the group, the power of art, sound, love, joy…courage. It takes a bit of courage to walk the compassionate path at this stage of the game but it is well worth it.

keep up the good work everyone..even if you dont measure up to your own expectations, give yourself a pat on the back and a big hug for caring and keep endeavoring to find the balance in your life and the right part for you to play in the big picture…

    lots of love…chaitanya…

Good to see that someone is standing up for a bigg cause (: we ought to unleash our individual powers that can contribute in making this world a better place. You rightfully pointed how we are condoning what we’re inflicting on this planet . The ‘hope’ , the so much inspiring ‘hope’ in your words touched and moved me (:

    • Well you moved me with your reply. Thank you! I will never stop waking people up to the horrid truth that we keep hidden behind our desires and greed driven creations to satisfy such cravings…we are all in effect addicts, addicted to the need to feel good and will do whatever it takes to get it, and it is only brutally enforced laws that keep it as contained as it currently is. We will no when we have truly woken up, when we are truly compassionate, as there will be no laws on planet earth. We are smart creatures, we can do this, albeit with a lot of help form people like me who were able to work this experience out.

I need help too! But even if I had to go it alone, I would still march forward into the face of 6 billion peoples denial. It is just denial. That’s it. So lets get real and fast before we destroy this possibility that life has presented us with. What could we expect life to give back to us when we can’t even feel the pain of the animals we kill and eat… People are suffering for not looking at all this, and we could free this world of unnecessary pain tomorrow. We have that within us. It is time we stirred from our slumber!

      • I’ve been talking about this just today with my housemate, it seems that here on planet earth most people have been acting like selfish little children at worst or wounded teenagers at best…not realising or caring about the consequences of our actions…This is what we are coming out of…we are growing up, some of us faster than others, waking up, some of us faster than others but the energetic impetus is definitely there, pushing us forward, urging us to make compassionate choices, for our own personal transformation and for the good of those around us…because once we can become discerning and begin to heal those old wounds we can then make the best choices possible in each circumstance…and the best possible option is always the one which benefits all…the ultimate win-win…
thats how im lucky enough to see it/experience it!

      • Great… Yes you are seeing it and we need to share this shifting of energy without compromise!

  4. Hello – I’m so glad I found your site… I agree with the whole thrust and body of your thoughts.

It is true that we have made ourselves “gOds” above all else… But we’ve mismanaged this authority miserably. I am not “anti-man” at all. In fact, the opposite is true. I’m so saddened that we stay stuck in our slumber of greed and denial to the point that we hinder and halt our own evolution. We are much better than this state we now find ourselves in… And I believe too, that embracing our compassionate selves is the key to reaching our full potential.

Thanks for all you do. Am anxious to peruse your website and gaining more knowledge from your very thought provoking ideas.

    • My ideas on how to tackle this horrid reality are growing daily. I am working on a documentary that will explain everything and take the debate out of this topic. Thank you for your words of support and encouragement.

      • Olivia

Bea found your site in November, David, but it wasn’t ’til this week that she posted a video from your blog in HER blog: PROVOKED.

You’ll find it here: http://beaelliott.blogspot.com/2011/02/kill-wild-cows-slaughter-docile-ones.html (just scroll down a bit til you see it!).

You’ll see my comment under “Anon-O” — that’s short for Anonymous Olivia! 🙂

I don’t have the heart to look at the ugly videos any more (or rather, I have too soft a heart to endure the ugliness), but I watched enough of them as I was learning about our “bullying” of animals, as you put it so perfectly, that I will never need to view another wretched scene to know that I could NEVER participate in it again.

The other day this thought occurred to me: Each person who knowingly, willfully uses animals for his own profit or pleasure is either committing or soliciting premeditated mass murder.

Each one is either an accomplice to the crime or a perpetrator of the crime.

Each one is an inducted (and indoctrinated) member of the largest gang in the world. Each one is not just a bully, but a thug, a criminal, a thief, a robber, a slayer, a killer, a murderer.

Have I made my point clearly enough? 😦

Before signing off, I would like to make another point. That this world we have been conditioned to accept and justify is not the “REAL” world — it couldn’t be. It’s a counterfeit of what’s real. Only Truth and Love and Life are real, enduring, true, good, liberating.

This sham reality is no more than the Big Lie posing as truth. Knowing that makes me braver about standing up to it, pushing back, refuting it, and helping others awake from the nightmare, as you are doing in your infinite courage and compassion and commitment to GOOD. 🙂

I found your site quite by chance, a Facebook page called Animal Rights and Human Wrongs, posted your strong The Unleashing of Human Compassion To Save Life On Earth. Google brought me to your page and I’m glad to be here. I’ve only been a vegetarian for the last 7 months. But I saw Food.Inc as far back as April 2012. That shocked me thoroughly, so I began searching the web for more documentaries on factory farming … it has been a devastating, albeit enlightening, experience! I was so angry at myself for being so completely ignorant of farm animal conditions. And angry that it is both allowed, condoned and subsidised. My initial reaction was to cut back on meat and dairy right away- and only buy products that came from animals, who were certified free range (such as local farmers, products certified cruel-free by the Danish equivalent of PETA). After some months of learning how to cook meet-free, I cut out meat and Dairy almost completely (I have a terrible time letting go of the organic Cheddar Cheese and organic Garlic Cheese and the occasional egg from hens in fruit orchards) – but I am trying very hard.I know I will get there eventually. I hope to influence many of my friends and my family – but it is so much harder than I thought. However I do share your optimism, that the vegan way is the way we are heading. Especially since the carbon footprint is horrible for beef (cows should be happy to hear that). And maybe even better – the various cancer associations’ recommandations almost denounce meat in the diet, if you want to stay the healthiest you can. Thank you for a most inspiring site – I will look forward to following your work.

    • Thank you for the wonderful comments above. I will only be posting occasionally on this site from now on as my attention will be on the internet radio show that will explore everything in this site and more, and on developing Life Expansion Technique… a necessary pathway for any human to see the truth and for humanity to unite. These are the links which are also in the above menu items.
